Austronesia and Prehistory studies

The past, present, and future are a series of continuous time. What is present now, cannot be appear suddenly, but entrenched from our past and will continue to the future. By this frame CPAS emerge as an institution for (1) exploration of the past to understand better about the origin, dispersal, and development of people and culture (where we were came from); (2) knowing and strengthen current people identity (who we are); (3) enlighten for the development of future life (where we will go)-
"we belong to a single family" and "unity in diversity", two expression describe yolk in the global life. We believe that all humans were originated from one single mother. Forced bya strong will for discovery, curiosity, and desire to find a new hope of life, they were spread and developed to almost every single place in the world. Adaptation process and cultural diffusion were slowly create a physical mosaic and culture (pluralism and multiculturalism) as we can see nowadays.
CPAS work inside this uniquely sphere: exploring the origin of those diversity to give a meaning in present life and preparing us for a better future. Therefore, the emphasis of study are being focused on two topics: (1) prehistoric life in general and (2) Austronesian speakers and their cultural history.
